Covers the most powerful piece of field artillery. beginning with the basic properties of the gun, and round, and moves on to the personnel. Breaking down into sections including the detail, gun sections, ammunition section, and maintenance section. Then the sections are broken down. Follows the deployment orders down the chain. Watch as the crews inspect the weapon and all parts of the train before movement. See the manual for digging the emplacement to make sure the gun covers it's assigned section, as well as the layout of the gun itself. Watch as the weapon is assembled by the 16 man crew, a lengthy procedure.

| Service of the Piece |
Training film covers the installation of the sights, and the setting of the fuse, and primer pit, and the various movement capable parts are cleaned and oiled. Watch as the weapon is loaded and test fired. See the procedure for a primer, or charge misfire.

| Displacing |
Last of the training films on the 240 MM Howitzer covers the disassembly of the weapon in preparation to travel. Reversing the procedures covered in the first film the artillery piece is broken down, and packed onto the carriers. From the removal of the barrel, and attaching it to the prime mover, to the removal of the cradle, and top carriage. Finally the platform is lifted and disassembled, and all the remaining parts are loaded onto the equipment trailer, and the company moves out.
