See some of the wooden structures completely destroyed by the blast yet untouched by fire. See the devastation wrought to the penitentiary. Watch as the Mitsubishi steel works are toured showing the devastation. Hear the body count from the different institutions hit. See the areas marked out on the map of complete destruction from blast and fire, from fire alone, and then the partial destruction areas.

Heat See the effects of the radiation heat of the bomb in fused roofing tiles, that differed from those found in Hiroshima. Also seen are the concrete and asbestos shingles, as well as the road near the epicenter itself. Note how Mica in the granite is melted. Moving out we see the effects of the heat as unburned patches from grass, and leaves are left on poles, and other objects.
