This U.S. Army training film is a re-enactment of an army investigation in which the polygraph played an important part. A list of the times to use the polygraph is given, and an explanation is given on the general areas able to be questioned about is explained. General questions are given before the test, to build a report with the suspect, to allow some of the nervous tension to dissipate. The suspect is wired up to the machine, and the pieces of the apparatus are explained. See the exam, and the responses on the chart. After the test, the examiner goes over the responses, and attempts to get more information from the suspect.
