Training film on escaping from aircraft downed in the water. Every second counts, as modern aircraft sick in generally less than a minute. Planes can sink at about 10 feet per second. Various submerged scenarios were tested by the navy, and found the best is pre impact ejection, the next is manual egress, and finally ejection. This film covers the manual egress, and the underwater ejection.
