Training film for the operation of the Anti-aircraft Searchlight battery. Covers the crew and equipment used, and follows the crew while they unload and set-up the power plant, searchlight, control station, and the sound locator. Watch as the entire battery is wired, and prepared for orientation.

Orientation and Synchronization 1941

The second training film in the series. This covers the orientation and synchronization of the sound locater, searchlight, and control station in azimuth, and elevation. See two methods of this demonstrated. The first is to align on a distant fixed object. The other is to align on itself, the searchlight on the sound locater, and the control station on the searchlight. Following this we watch as the components are oriented in elevation.
